Now that the exhibition in London of the Wellcome Trust 2019 Photography Prize is over, just want to share a few words, well a paragraph or two. ?
Making it to the Wellcome Trust Photography Prize shortlist has been an amazing journey in the last 12 months for Best Days Of Your Life.
Recently, the BBC covered Best Days Of Your Life and you can find out more about the project via this link
Best Days Of Your Life seeks to explore and offer an insight and provide the means for discussion into the ‘epidemic’ of mental health issues that our society faces both locally and globally with the rise of self-harm among adolescents.
Thank you to Wellcome which has allowed me to further campaign and raise awareness of self-harm and mental health issues that young people are facing and living with.
Thank you Lethaby Gallery in London for being such a great venue to host #wpp19 shortlist and winners.
And thank you everyone who visited the exhibition while it was on.
I’m now taking the Best Days Of Your Life project further and upwards.
